DANVILLE, Ill – The visiting Watertown Wolves (18-4-0-8) dominated play early against
the host Danville Dashers (13-1-4-14) but the home team struck first as Gehrett Sargis scored the lone goal of the 1st period.
The Dashers continued to hold the edge during the second as they cashed in on a 5-on-3 advantage when Justin Brausen made it 2-0 Dashers.
The Wolves continue to prove the Third period belongs to them as team Captain Justin Alonzo cut the lead to 2-1.
With the extra attacker on the ice Chad Bennett tied the game and sent the two teams into OT.
Off the opening faceoff the Wolves took advantage as Chad Bennett went top shelf for his second goal of the game giving the Wolves the come from behind win.
