READING, Pa – The Reading Royals and Elmira Jackals finished up a three-game series Wednesday night.
The Royals broke out the offense in an 8-3 thrashing of the Jackals.
It was Reading’s first home win of the season and erased some distaste from a loss to the Jackals earlier.
The defense worked well for Reading, mostly courtesy of the offense keeping Elmira pinned down, and limited the Jackals to only 13 hosts on goal.
