MUSKEGON, MI – Rem Pitlick registered three assists, while his line mates Collin Adams and Matej Paulovic picked up their second straight multi-point night to help the Muskegon Lumberjacks to a 3-2 win over the Youngstown Phantoms. Muskegon is now (3-1-1) on the season, against their conference rival. 
The Lumberjacks and Phantoms went the first 18 minutes with scoreless hockey. Joey Daccord made a couple of strong saves for the Lumberjacks to preserve the scoreless tie, and then Collin Adams opened the scoring with his 22nd of the season. Adams bashed home the rebound, after Colin DeAugistine initially saved the shot from Graham Lillibridge. Rem Pitlick also recorded an assist on the goal, and Muskegon would take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
Midway through the second period, the Lumberjacks doubled their lead. Late on a power play opportunity, Pitlick played the puck to Matej Paulovic who dropped a pass back to Dante Palecco, and he snapped home his 11th of the season to give Muskegon a two-goal lead.
Five minutes into the third period, Paulovic scored his third goal in two games after Adams and Pitlick set him up in the high slot, to give Muskegon a 3-0 lead. The Phantoms would counter with two goals five minutes apart from Ty Farmer and Connor Moore to cut the Lumberjacks lead to one, but Daccord finished the last nine minutes with save after save, and Muskegon held on for the 3-2 victory. Daccord completed his night with 32 saves, and improved to (18-18-4) on the season.
