ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning, announced the club has re-signed defenseman/forward Dustin Geregach to a contract for the 2026-27 season.

Geregach, 24, rejoins the Solar Bears after he was acquired in a trade with the Norfolk Admirals in November. He recorded a career-high 21 points (5g-16a) and 60 penalty minutes in 62 games last season with Norfolk and Orlando.
The McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania native signed his first professional contract during the 2024-25 season with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, when he scored 13 points (2g-11a) in 18 games.
Prior to his professional career, Geregach played four seasons at Mercyhurst University. In 117 games, Geregach tallied 55 points (14g-41a) with 59 penalty minutes.
