Everblades even series with another OT win

ESTERO, Fla. – Hudson Elynuik scored 10:36 into overtime to give the Florida Everblades a 3-2 win in overtime of Game 4 of the Kelly Cup Finals on Friday in front of a standing-room only crowd of 7,366 fans at Hertz Arena. The series is tied 2-2.

For the first time in the series, Florida scored the game’s opening goal on a power play 15:55 into the contest. Reid Duke gathered in a pass from Jordan Sambrook in the left-wing circle and beat Dylan Wells for his second goal of the playoffs.

Kanas City evened the game 16 seconds into the second period when Zach Uens beat Cam Johnson from the left-wing circle for his first postseason goal.

The Everblades answered to regain the lead at 7:01 as Sam Stange beat Wells on a quick shot from the left-wing side for his third goal of the playoffs.

The Mavericks again pulled even at 17:09 when Landon McCallum, just out of the penalty box, got behind the Florida defense and beat Johnson from the right-wing side for his fourth goal of the playoffs.

Florida became the first team in Riley/Kelly Cup Finals history to have zero penalty minutes in a game.
