Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, announced the team has signed forward Hank Crone for the 2026-27 season.
Crone returns to the Americans for a fourth season with the team. He had 50 points in 63 games (13g-37a) in 2025-26.
The Dallas native won the ECHL Most Valuable Player and the Rookie of the Year awards in the 2022-23 season when he led the league in scoring with 105 points (49g-56a).
He has five total games in the American Hockey League, seeing action in three games with the Chicago Wolves in 2023-24), and a pair of contests with the Ontario Reign in 2022-23.
Crone played his collegiate hockey with Boston University (2017-18), University of Denver (2019-21), and Northern Michigan (2021-22).
