QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. — Splitting first two meeting between the two arc-rival teams, Blainville-Boisbriand registered a second win in three meetings, 7-5, on Wednesday night in Centre D’excellence Sport Rousseau. Alex Barre-Boulet (2 goals 3 assists) and Pascal Corbeil (2 goals 2 assists) took charge offensively leading their team to second wins in three games against Quebec, 
Armada made their opponent paid for their undisciplined in first period scoring two of their three goals with the help of their power play. Quebec drew the first blood in the game in Blainville-Boisbriand on Wednesday night.
The long wrist shot from the blue line by defenseman Christian Huntley left no chance to Armada goaltender Francis Leclerc who lost the sight of the puck as he got lots of traffic in front of him. Huntley’s goal came with 14:46 to play in the initial period.
Going 0-in-1 with a man advantage the Armada took advantage of their second chance with a man up trying the score 1-1 on Ryan DeSilva 2nd of the regular season. Baribeau has been beaten on his left side with 7:55 remaining in the period.
Playing four-on-four hockey Blainville-Boisbriand following consecutive penalties to Quebec Olivier Mathieu and Blainville-Boisbrian Alexandre Alain, the Armada took the lead for first time in the game. Losing the puck twice, the Armada left winger Joel Tisdale beat Quebec netinder with a backhanded shot on his right side 4:10 later.
Going 1-in-two on power play Blainville-Boisbriand scored their second goal of the period with a man up. Defenseman Pascal Corbeil long wrist shot beat Quebec netminder on his glove side 43 seconds later.
Playing what can be their best second period of the regular season, Quebec came from behind trailing 1-3 in the beginning of second period, Quebec scored four times taking the lead for second times in the game 4-3 before seeing the Armada tying the score 4-4.
Beginning the second period on power play their first in the game, Quebec was the beneficiary of five-on-three following a too many men on the ice penalty given to Blainville-Boisbriand.
Taking advantage of their two men advantage for 1:51 minutes Quebec captain Matthew Boucher cut Armada lead to one goal, scoring his 13, of the regular season, his 78th, of his career in 200 QMJHL games. With Alexsis Antalainen back on the ice for the Armada following Quebec second goals, the Remparts still had 1:12 left on the too many men penalty to Blainville-Boisbriand.
Redirecting a shot from teammates Philipp Kurashev, Derek Gentile brought back both teams to square one with his 11th of the year at 2:46. Quebec scored two goals in 1:06.
Quebec regained the lead for second time. Drawing first blood in the game as they lead 1-0 in first period, Quebec took a 4-3 lead with Mikael Robidoux 5th goals of the regular season as his precise shot beat Armada netminder Francis Leclerc at 6:50 of the middle frame. Allowed Quebec first four goals on eight shots, given three goals on last three Quebec shots, Blainville-Boisbriand head coach Joel Bouchard made goalie change sending Emile Samson in.
Blanville-Boisbriand came back tying the score 4-4 with Alexandre Alain goal redirecting a shot from teammate Pascal Corbeil at 13:18 of second period.
With the score tied 4-4, after forty minutes of play in very exciting game for the 1,756 fans in Centre d’excellence Sport Rousseau who came to see their favorites, Blainville-Boisbriand regained the lead for second times in the game with three goals, last one in empty net with 7.5 seconds left on the clock scored by Alex Barre-Boulet his second of the game.
Pascal Corbeil also with his second of the night broke the tie giving a 5-4 lead to the Armada beating Quebec goalie over his right shoulder with 14:05 remaining in the third periods. Alex Barre-Boulet scored his first of the game a power play goal going 3-in-4 for the night on power play with 9:23 left to do in the period.
Quebec came back cutting Blainville-Boisbriand’s lead to one goal (6-5) with Jesse Sutton, pushing behind Armada netminder Samson a rebound shot from Philipp Kurashev at 15:35.
Pulling his starting netminder Baribeau with less than 1:30 in the third, Quebec head coach still believed in his team to be able to get the equalizer. Unfortunately for Quebec fans Barre-Boulet scored Armada seventh goals in an empty net with 7.5 seconds left to the third periods sealing Blainville-Boinsbriand victory by the score of 7-5.
Quebec will return in Quebec for their only home game in vive nights on Thursday night hosting Chicoutimi Sagueneens.
