“Breaking the party for us wasn’t the goal,” Baie-Comeau head coach Marco Pietronero said after his team wins their first victory of the regular season at their first visit at the new Videotron Center.
“It wasn’t the goal but it is nice for us the puck bounce on our side for once it will be good for us. It is always what we looking for been able to coming back showing our character always what we look for,” continued the Drakkar head coach Pietronero.
“I don’t think we will have any easy game to play we don’t want to be a team that is easy to play against, we didn’t want to give any points to anyone, it was like that since the beginning and we aren’t kind of team that throw the towel. We talked about it before the game, so we will have to take it one step at the time, it is a development league so it is funny to see it.”
“Well you can’t just played forty minutes every shift you take off they take advantage of it so. I think we did good things tonight, we have had good start we start on right foot but we have to be able to play full sixty minutes and that is what we didn’t do tonight.” Quebec veteran defenseman Raphael Maheux said when a reporter asked to explain his team performances.
“It often the result you would like to have,” answered Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher when he was asked about his team having the lead most of the game.
“But when you dominate most of the game defensively we didn’t give much, offensively we were dangerous but we didn’t have the result especially in second period where we have had our chances to put it in we weren’t be able to do it and we paid it in the third.” Continued Quebec head coach Boucher.
