CHICAGO -The Chicago Wolves battled an intensive game against the struggling Manitoba Moose.
The game came to a tight grinding match until the third period the Wolves scored twice giving them a 3-1 win over Manitoba.
The Wolves came into this game hungry and showed Manitoba no mercy. The Wolves were a better team coming in with a 3-1-1 record where as Manitoba 1-4-1 played a well balanced game against the Wolves.
After tying the game 1-1 in the third period the Wolves played harder and it showed when Yannick Veilleux got a leading goal at 11:40.
Later Pat Cannone got an empty netter to put the Wolves up 3-1 and to win the game.
The Wolves are now in first place in their division and will try and do the same thing again on Sunday when they host the Manitoba Moose again.
