Wolves Dominate Prowlers, 7-1

Watertown, NY – It was time for First Responders Night in Watertown on this Saturday night. The fans were excited, and the game started out with a high pace, with the Wolves getting a early power play, and it didn’t take long before the home team grabbed the lead just 2.38 into the game, thanks to Justin MacDonald.

It only took another 2 minutes before MacDonald got his second goal of the game, The Wolves were now up 2-0 before the 5-minute mark. It was a crazy start to the game where we had the score 3-1 before we even had played 6 minutes.

We got to see one more goal in the first period, and went to the intermission with a 4-1 lead for Wolves.

The second period only saw one goal, the Wolves got another goal from team captain Juatin MacDonald, who now had a hat trick. We also saw some really physical play, and there was also a fight that got the fans going a bit. We went to the second intermission with Wolves in the lead 5-1.

The third period started with a pretty low pace, and both teams looked tired after the long trip overnight from Port Huron. Wolves had both Devine and Mahfouz in the box for almost a full 2 minute pk, but Port Huron never managed to score. Instead, it was time for MacDonald to get his fourth goal of the night in front of an excited home crowd. And with only about 30 seconds to go, Michael Mann got the last goal of the game, and the home team Wolves went off with the win 7-1.

The teams will play their last game of this 3-game series tomorrow at 4 PM, and will have a 3-game series in 2 weeks again over in Port Huron.
