Windsor having one Hall of a time

BRANDON – The NHL Entry Draft is only a month away but Taylor Hall continues to show why he should become the first overall pick in the draft scoring two goals and added two assists in the Windsor Spitfires 6-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen which in turn helped the team earn a berth in the MasterCard Memorial Cup championship game on Sunday. Taylor Hall scored his third goal of the Memorial Cup 3:55 into the first period and added a another 12 seconds into the third period to earn the star of the game honors. Windsor scored the first three goals of the game before Calgary got two back to close the gap to 3-2.
Hall’s goal in the third period was the first of three third period goals by the Spitfires to put the game out of reach. Windsor outshot Calgary in every period of the game and 37-27 overall. Only five power plays were awarded in the game with Windsor the only to score on their three chances in the game.
Game five of the 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup will be Tuesday night when the Moncton Wildcats takes on Windsor.
