Wild run past Chicago with 2-1 win

ROSEMONT, IL The Chicago Wolves (14-11-1-2) came back from Christmas break hoping to continue their winning streak against the Iowa Wild (6-22-2-3) on a cold evening at the Allstate Arena.

The Wolves came out hard on the Wild throughout this game, but failed to put another point on the board to tie it giving them a 2 to 1 loss.

Wolves forward Evan Trupp scored a power-play goal in the third to give the Wolves a 2 to 1 game. Wolves goaltender Pheonix Coplay who is (8-7-1) this season, made 25 saves for the Wolves.

The Wolves will try and hunt down another win when they travel to Milwaukee on Money in a Amtrack Rivalry match. The Wolves will then come and faceoff against the arch rivals the Rockford Icehogs on Saturday in a Illinois Lottery Cup match.
