In St Paul, the Wild’s Jordan Greenway hit for a double and Minnesota downed the Colorado Avalanche, 4-1, on Friday night.
Marc-Andre Fleury made 27 saves in the Minnesota win.
The Wild improved to 53-22-7.
Nazem Kadri was the lone striker for the Avs.
Colorado dropped to 56-19-7,but remain the top seed in the Western Conference.
Greenway scored to give the Wild a 1-0 lead, Tyson Jost pushed the lead to 2-0.
Kirill Kaprizov had a goal for Minnesota to make the count, 3-0.
Greenway finished his double with an empty-net strike.
Pavel Francouz made 18 saves in the Colorado loss.
