Wild down Islanders, 2-1, on skills Reaves scores first for Wild in regulation - Update to follow

In St Paul, Frederick Gaudreau was the only scorer on penalties on Tuesday night, his skills goal gave the Wild a 2-1 win over the visiting New York Islanders.

Filip Gustavsson made 39 saves to get the win for the Wild.

Minnesota improved to 34-21-6.

The Islanders took a 1-0 lead in the fist period off a rebound at 14:15.

The game was relatively incident free only one minor penalty whistled in the game, that went to the Wild.

New York dropped to 31-25-6.
