We went back through the archives to take a look at the history of Friday night’s fixtures:

It’s the first time since 2021 that games are taking place on Halloween itself. There have been 26 Elite League games played on Halloween, 16 of which were won by home teams and seven of which needed overtime or a shootout to decide them.
There have been 71 league meetings between Nottingham and Belfast at the Motorpoint Arena. The Panthers hold 36 wins to the Giants’ 33, with two games ending level. On average, matchups between these teams produce over six goals per game.
Since joining the Elite League, Guildford have visited Dundee 20 times and taken the points on 13 of those occasions. The Stars have seven wins, and when games go beyond 60 minutes, the teams are even with three victories each.
Manchester’s win over Fife at the Storm Shelter earlier this season took them to 19 all-time home league wins over the Flyers. Fife, meanwhile, have only left Altrincham with a victory on 10 occasions.
