WATERTOWN, NY – The Watertown Wolves (18-3-0-8) outlasted the Berkshire Battalion (9-2-1-17) for an 8-6 win in FHL action in front of 624 at the Watertown Municipal Ice Arena Saturday night.
Berkshire built a three-goal lead before the Wolves began their rally. Bu the end of forty minutes of play the score was 5-3.
A big third period effort from Watertown completed the comeback with the Wolves outscoring the Battalion 5-1 in the final frame.
Justin McDonald led the Wolves with four goals, including three in the 3rd period. He now leads the FHL with 34 goals.
The 3 stars of the game went to Justin MacDonald, Tyler Prendergast, and Jo St. Pierre.
The two teams battle again Thursday, Jan. 8 at 7:35 pm.
