(Toledo, OH) – The Walleye defeated the Wings 3-2 in front of a sold out crowd on Friday night in Toledo. Matej Machovsky stopped 27 of 29 shots and is now 4-5-0-1 on the season. The Walleye are 19-8-2-1 on the season and 11-3-0 at home.
Kalamazoo struck first to take a 1-0 lead at 11:57 of the first period. Kyle Bonis tied the game 1-1 at 16:26 of the first.
Mike Borkowski gave the Walleye a 2-1 lead at 17:30 of the third period. Kalamazoo tied the game 2-2 with a power play goal at 19:18 of the third. Christian Hilbrich made it 3-2 Walleye at 19:43 of the third.

The team travels to Wheeling Saturday for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop and to Fort Wayne Sunday for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
