Winston-Salem, NC: In the second quarterfinal game of the ACCHL D2 tournament, it was the Wake Forest Demon Deacons defeating the West Virginia University Mountaineers by a final score of 6-3.
Wake Forest got goals from Farrell Fitzpatrick, Buzzy Gregoire, Jennings Lobel, Sam Howell, Drew Gebhardt and Colin Licovoli.
WVU goal scorers were Luke Evangelista, Chace Shepard and Alex Evans. Kyle Bellemore and Nicholas Mohardt also got assists for the Mountaineers.
Jack Nemickas got the victory in net for Wake Forest, while Michael Mackey took the loss.
