The countdown is over!
All ten Elite League teams have wrapped up pre-season, and the focus now shifts to the opening weekend of the 2025/26 campaign.
Over the past few weeks, teams across the league have tested themselves in pre-season action, fine-tuned systems, and given fans a first glimpse of their new-look rosters. With pre-season in the books, coaches and players alike are making their final adjustments as the race for silverware begins in earnest.
The season gets underway with a bumper weekend of action as every team hits the ice twice. The curtain-raisers once again sees the Challenge Cup front and centre, with all opening fixtures being Cup games.
The storylines are already building: Which team will make the fastest start? Which new signings will hit the ground running? And who will lay down an early marker?
