PAPILLION, Neb – Hockey Canada released their 46 man roster for Team Canada’s Men’s Hockey Team for the 2010 Olympics on Thursday. Included in the blend of talent are two former players from the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). Former Miami RedHawk Dan Boyle and Ex-Michigan State Spartan Duncan Keith have been selected to partake in Team Canada’s blueline for the upcoming Winter Olympics to be held in Vancouver, BC. Boyle played for the University of Miami (OH) from 1994-98 earning Best Offensive Defenseman his senior season. The San Jose Shark has never played in an Olympic Game for Canada but was a member of the 2005 World Championships team that finished second in Austria. Keith’s selection to the camp marks the second time he has been chosen to participate in International play. Keith was a member of Team Canada for the 2008 World Championships that earned a silver medal. In total 46 players have been invited to camp. The team will be divided into two teams for competitive play. Executive Director Steve Yzerman, along with Head Coach Mike Babcock, will select the 2010 Olympic team and the IIHF World Championship team.
