TULSA, Okla. – Fans of local craft beers are about to be introduced to a new brew that will pair perfectly with a night at the rink. Dead Armadillo Brewery, a craft brewery in downtown Tulsa, has created a special beer inspired by the Tulsa Oilers hockey team. This Wednesday, November 11 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Fassler Hall (304 S Elgin Ave, Tulsa, OK 74120), the Oilers and Dead Armadillo will unveil “Breakaway,” an American Pale Ale as smooth and cold as a clean sheet of ice.
“Breakaway” will be the sixth beer created and crafted by Dead Armadillo and all Oilers’ fans, media members, and anyone else who wants to sample a new beer, are invited to Fassler Hall on Wednesday night to taste the new concoction for the first time. Members of the Oilers’ staff, an Oilers’ player, and brew masters from Dead Armadillo will be on hand to answer questions about Tulsa’s newest craft beer.
Featuring a perfect balance of malt and hops, “Breakaway” will be available at the Dead Armadillo Party Deck at all Tulsa Oilers’ home games at the BOK Center. The Oilers’ organization is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Dead Armadillo throughout the 2015-16 season and to promote local products and businesses to its fans.
