DAYTON, OH – For the second year, Dayton will host a unique training experience for aspiring pros.
Total 3 Hockey Camp will return to South Metro from July 18-21. Led by 2-time FHL championship coach Trevor Karasiewicz, the camp will focus on game fundamentals from the 3 key zones of hockey. Open to kids from age 9-13, the camp specializes in fun and intense skills building by ensuring a small student to coach ratio.
“This year will be bigger and better than last year,” said Karasiewicz. “We have prizes for the kids and lunch is provided every day. Also, every kid receives a jersey as well.”
Returning to the lineup of instructors is Dayton’s own Brian Marks, two- time defenseman of the year with the now defunct Demolition. Also returning is Dayton forward Brad Townshend, and they will be joined by another Dayton alumni; forward Brett Wall.

A 12-year veteran of minor league hockey as a player, Trevor Karasiewicz is 5th overall in SPHL history in points, and set a record for most assists in the FHL with 102. He was part of 3 championships in the FHL within a 5-year span; one as a player and two as a head coach.
The following is a post by Karasiewicz from last year’s camp:
“Day 3 is under wraps and what a day it was. We worked on power strides, crossovers, faking and dekes and battle drills with a twist. Then to end the day we had a shootout and my team lost 3 in a row. Congrats to all the players. You kids make this camp fun and enjoyable by listening and learning.”
“We are very fortunate to have great sponsors step up and make this camp a success,” said Karasiewicz. “And our instructors go above and beyond for the kids.”
As with last year, reservations are encouraged well ahead of time as the limited number of spots fills up quickly.
