Three sets of Halloween Hockey on EIHL Friday night

It’s a busy Friday night in the Elite League with three games across the UK.

Belfast Giants head across the Irish Sea for a weekend double in England, starting with a Friday night clash in Nottingham. The Panthers are joint league leaders in the early running with nine points from six games played. Belfast sit three points back with four played but come into the weekend off a big midweek home win over Cardiff, which they’ll hope can kickstart their league campaign.

In Dundee, Guildford Flames are the visitors to face a Stars side that has just one point from five league fixtures so far. There’s been no hiding from the Flames’ injury troubles as they look to improve on a point-per-game return from six league outings, icing only 13 skaters in a midweek defeat to Sheffield. Dundee, meanwhile, are without a regulation win since 21 September.

Manchester Storm host Fife Flyers for the second time this season, having already beaten them 6-1 at the Storm Shelter. The Flyers are looking to end a nine-game losing slide which has left them winless from six league games, while Storm sit fourth early on with four wins from five.
