Week 12 of the 2025/26 Elite Ice Hockey League season continues with three big Saturday night games, and there’s no doubting where the spotlight falls.

The headline matchup sees fierce rivals Sheffield Steelers and Nottingham Panthers go head-to-head once again. The Panthers took last weekend’s meeting in Nottingham via a shootout to stay top of the standings, and also won their earlier Cup clash in Sheffield. They were in action again on Friday night against Glasgow, while the Steelers will complete their own two-game weekend on Sunday when they visit Coventry.
In Glasgow, there’s another huge matchup as the Clan host the Belfast Giants at Braehead Arena. The Clan were on the road in Nottingham on Friday, while the Giants are playing the second leg of their Scottish weekend after coming across from Dundee. The Stars won three of their four Cup meetings with Belfast earlier in the season, setting the stage for an intriguing first league encounter between the sides.
Finally, in Manchester, the Storm welcome the Coventry Blaze for the second of back-to-back home games this weekend. The Storm hosted Fife on Friday night and now turn their attention to Coventry, a team they’ve already beaten twice this season, winning 6-4 in the Cup and 4-2 when the points were on the line.
