The final Saturday night of EIHL action before Christmas brings three games across the league.

In the day’s earlier 6pm start, Guildford Flames host Coventry Blaze, a little over two weeks after the Flames took the points with a late winner at the Skydome. The teams sit one place apart in the standings, with Guildford five points ahead, though both find themselves lower than they would have expected at this stage of the season.
At 7pm, Cardiff Devils welcome Sheffield Steelers to the Vindico Arena in a major clash near the top of the table. The Devils sit second and the Steelers third, both chasing leaders Nottingham Panthers. They begin the night three and four points behind Nottingham respectively, and with the Panthers not in action, one of them will close that gap. Cardiff were 4–0 winners when the teams met in Sheffield in November.
Also at 7pm, Fife Flyers and Glasgow Clan meet again, less than 24 hours after facing off in Braehead.
