Here’s what the history books tell us about Sunday’s Challenge Cup action:

Sheffield Steelers have only ever lost once at home to the Manchester Storm in Challenge Cup action – a penalty-shot defeat back in September 2018. The Steelers have won all 14 other meetings at the Utilita Arena.
Belfast Giants boast a strong Cup record in Dundee, winning 12 of their 17 visits to the Dundee Ice Arena.
Fife Flyers host the Glasgow Clan with an impressive home Cup record against their Braehead-based rivals, taking victory in eight of the 11 meetings in Kirkcaldy.
In 27 Challenge Cup games between Coventry Blaze and Cardiff Devils at the Skydome, the Devils hold the edge with 16 wins to the Blaze’s 10, with one game ending in a tie in October 2007.
