SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — If you’re anything like me, you probably thought the making of a sports schedule was all done by computer with some post-schedule tweaking. That simply isn’t the case; at least not in the AHL. So I thought I’d share the following release from the AHL on just how intense developing each year’s schedule is. Maybe you’ll be as much in awe of the process as I now am.
Not so.
In fact, the construction of the AHL schedule can be tedious at best and maddening at worst.
