ALBUQUERQUE -This past weekend the NA3HL Ice Wolves hosted the first place Louisiana Drillers. Friday they pulled off a thrilling comeback, down 3-1 in the third period. 
Newcomer Kyle Mackintosh and Evan Scholl each scored in the period to tie it up, sending it to overtime where Easton Armstrong would win in 1:38 into the extra frame. Mackintosh immediately endeared himself to the home crowd with a pair of goals.
Saturday was another thriller, this time it was the Drillers taking home the 5-4 shootout victory, led by a pair of goals from Derek Johnson.
Sunday was not kind to the Ice Wolves, falling 5-2. Five different Drillers lit the lamp, but Jonathan Brandt would lead the stat sheet with a goal and 3 assists.
