With the conclusion of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, Pro Hockey News puts an exclamation point on the 2015-16 season in the Northern Hemisphere.
The hockey season has been another exceptional year of coverage by PHN writers,

columnists and photographers. Our team (#TEAMPHN) was once again committed to sport and the publication.
We had staff in the ECHL post season and Kelly Cup Final and the AHL’s Calder Cup playoffs and Final in Allen and Cleveland for the Cup presentations.
For the NHL, we were again credentialed for the Stanley Cup Final with teams in Pittsburgh and San Jose bringing us game narratives and photojournalism.
Along the way, PHN was there for the Stadium Series Games and the Winter Classic as well as the NHL All Star game in Nashville.
Now, with the 1 July start date of the Free Agency season we here at Pro Hockey News are looking forward to the 2016-17 season and the fresh of “wait til next year”.
But before we get there we have a little matter of clearing up the Australian Ice Hockey League season.
