Tarasenko’s OT goal lifts Blues past Stars, 4-3

In St Louis Monday night, the Dallas Stars got a goal from Jamie Oleksiak with less than 50 seconds remaining in regulation to force extra time when he tied the score at 3-3 with the Blues.

“It’s always nice to contribute. I think coming out of that game with one point is really big for us. … I think it was a good hard point for all the boys, and I’m just happy to contribute,” Oleksiak said.St Louis Blues

The game had featured the Blues pulling a goal ahead in the third only to have the Stars reply.

“There’s real concern about the leads,” coach Ken Hitchcock said. “There’s real concern with what we gave up and how we did it. We played terrific and had full control of the hockey game, and we got careless on our checking and puck management.”
