Tampa rally past Ottawa, 4-3 Update to follow

In Tampa, Nikita Kucherov  scored with 2:20 left in the third period to give the Lightning a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night.

Tampa scored three times in the third period to rally for the win.

Andrei Vasilevskiy made 12 saves in win.

The Lightning were 1-for-8 with the power play.

Tampa improved to 6-4-0.

Mathieu Joseph scored a shorthanded goal for the Senators while the Bolts were on a 5-on-3 penalty.

Dylan Gambrell gave Ottawa a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Ottawa dropped to 4-5-0.

Tampa’s Mikhail Sergachev tied the game, 1-1, in the second period.

Joseph’s shorthanded goal gave Ottawa a 2-1 lead, but Alex Killorn tied it up, again, 2-2 in the middle frame.

Claude Giroux also scored for the Sens, his strike put them up, 3-2, in the third period.

Tampa tied the game in the third, 3-3, off a goal from Brayden Point .

Anton Forsberg made 30 saves in the Senators loss.
