Talbot signs 1-year, $1 million contract with Kings

Cam Talbot signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

The 35-year-old goalie, who was an unrestricted free agent, was 17-14-2 with a 2.93 goals-against average, .898 save percentage and one shutout in 36 games (32 starts) for the Ottawa Senators last season.

Signed by the New York Rangers as an undrafted free agent on March 30, 2010, Talbot is 218-156-36 with a 2.65 GAA, .914 save percentage and 28 shutouts in 432 regular-season games (413 starts) for the Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames, Minnesota Wild and Senators and 15-16 with a 2.51 GAA, .921 save percentage and six shutouts in 33 Stanley Cup Playoff games (31 starts).

The Kings also signed forward Trevor Lewis and center Jaret Anderson-Dolan, each on a one-year, $775,000 contract.

Lewis, 36, had 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) in 82 games for the Calgary Flames last season.

Anderson-Dolan, 23, had 12 points (seven goals, five assists) in 46 games with Los Angeles last season, and no points in four playoff games.
