High Point University claims Women’s Title

Winston-Salem, NC: On Sunday, February 18, 2024, High Point University Women’s Club Hockey team defeated Virgina Tech’s Women’s Club team in the ACCHL Championship game.

The final score was 9-2.

The game followed the semifinals on Saturday.  In the first game of the day, Virginia Tech defeated University of Virgina 6-5 in double overtime.

After the on-ice celebration, it was time for Georgetown University to face off against High Point University.

High Point would win 7-1. The following is a pictorial essay of the day’s event.

ACCHL Fall Classic Part 3

Springfield, VA: The ACCHL held their annual Fall Classic at the St. James on the weekend of Friday, November 3 through Sunday, November 5. Twenty-four teams were at the tournament, with each team playing one game a day, for a total of thirty-six games.

Game 13 George Washington University defeats Bryn Athyn 5-1.

Game 14: West Virginia University defeats Elon University 3-1.

Game 15: University of North Carolina Charlotte defeats East Carolina University 6-2

Game 16: University of Richmond defeats Duke University in overtime, 6-5

Game 17: University of North Carolina Wilmington defeats Rider University in overtime 3-2

Game 18: Denison University defeats Stevenson University 9-3

Springfield, VA: The ACCHL held their annual Fall Classic at the St. James on the weekend of Friday, November 3 through Sunday, November 5. Twenty-four teams were at the tournament, with each team playing one game a day, for a total of thirty-six games.

Today’s Best Shots of the Game will cover games seven through twelve, which took place on Friday.

Game 7: University of North Carolina Charlotte defeats West Virginia University 3-0.

Game 8: Rider University defeats Virginia Tech 11-7.

Game 9: Penn State defeats NC State 3-2.

Game 10: University of North Carolina defeats Rowan University 6-1.

Game 11: Duke University defeats Princeton University 7-2..

Game 12: Denison University defeats Wake Forest University 6-2
