Sullivan notches 600 games in EIHL

Zach Sullivan had a momentous night on Saturday, becoming only the 25th player in Elite League history to reach 600 EIHL games.

The British defenceman marked the occasion in style as his Manchester Storm side came away with a 6–3 victory, the first part of a four-point weekend.

“It makes me realise how old I am,” joked the 31-year-old. “When I got to my 400th game, I was playing in Glasgow, which was special as that’s where I started. There was a point where I didn’t think I’d play in the Elite League at all, so it means a lot to have been here for this long.

“I’m not taking it for granted. I’ve had some tough injuries over the past few years, so I know I’m getting on! I take every game as it comes and do everything I can to help the boys out on the ice.”
