Stars drop Pittsburgh, 2-1, on skills Update to follow

In Pittsburgh, the Dallas Stars got a full effort and Braden Holtby made 27 saves in a 2-1 win over the Penguins after the skills portion of the affair.

The win helped Dallas end their road trip to open the season with a 2-2-0 record.

Michael Raffl scored for Dallas in regulation for a 1-0 lead in the first period.  The goal came with just under 10 seconds to go in the period.

Joe Pavelski and Alexander Radulov were the strikers for Dallas in the skills competition.

Pittsburgh tied the game in the middle frame off a goal from John Marino.

The pens have not lost in regulation, their record dropped to 2-0-2.

Tristan Jarry made 28 saves in the loss.
