With less than a minutes gone in the extra session, Tobias Rieder took a pass form Alexander Burmistrov to score the game-winning goal.

“[Burmistrov] made a nice play and let me step into one and it went right in,” said Rieder, who has goals in back-to-back games and 10 for the season. “He’s a good playmaker and really skilled. You’re just looking for a place to get open and he’s going to put the puck on your stick.”

Christian Fischer and Ryan White scored for Arizona in regulation.

Roberto Luongo made 39 saves in taking the loss.

“[Luongo] has been playing unreal and [backup goalie James Reimer as well], but it’s tough for them when we’re not scoring goals,” Florida’s Keith Yandle said. “We’re kind of leaving them hung out to dry.”

Vincent Trocheck and Michael Sgarbossa were the Florida goal scorers.

The Panthers are 0202 on their road trip and are not scoring much more than two goals a game.

“The guys are frustrated. Everybody’s frustrated because we’re not winning enough,” Panthers coach Tom Rowe said. “Our power play has to start producing some goals because we’re not scoring a lot 5-on-5. We’ve got to get more offense out of some of our top-end guys.”

Yandle played in his 600th consecutive game Monday.
