KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that veteran forward Todd Skirving has signed a contract with the team for the 2025–26 season.
Skirving, 33, enters his eighth professional season with two Kelly Cups to his name (2019, Newfoundland and 2024, Florida). Last season, he compiled 19 points (11g-8a) in 39 games with the Reading Royals.
The Thunder Bay, Ontario native has played in 341 career professional games, recording 168 points (85g-83a) while playing for Orlando, Utah, Atlanta, Newfoundland, Florida and Reading. He participated in the 2023 ECHL All-Star Classic, and took home the ECHL Community Service Award with Reading last season. Skirving has also been named team captain twice (Newfoundland & Reading), alternate captain twice (Newfoundland) and has skated one American Hockey League game with the Toronto Marlies (2022-23).
Collegiately, Skirving played four seasons at Rochester Institute of Technology, recording 51 points (19g-32a) in 127 games.
