The Henderson Silver Knights triumphed over the Milwaukee Admirals, 4-2, at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Friday evening. Matyas Sapovaliv scored the game-winning goal and Gage Quinney, Cal Burke, and Jakub Demek each had multi-point games.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
De Leo put the Admirals on the board early with a power-play goal, his third tally of the weekend series.
Quinney was quick to respond with a power-play goal of his own to tie the game 1-1. Defenseman Calen Addison and goaltender Carl Lindbom picked up the assists. It marked Lindbom’s first professional point.
Demek then put the Silver Knights in front with his first goal of the season. Quinney and Burke both assisted on the play.
Ufko made it 2-2 heading into the second intermission with a late period goal.
After Braeden Bowman forced a turnover, Matyas Sapovaliv netted his ninth goal of the season to give Henderson back the lead.
Burke, assisted by Demek, added an insurance goal at 17:40 in the third period to make it 4-2.
Lindbom stopped 25 of 27 to secure a 4-2 Silver Knights victory.
