HOW IT WENT DOWN
Klapka put the Wranglers on the board first at 11:55 in the first period.
Raphael Lavoie tied the game at one with a power-play goal just over a minute into the first period. Braeden Bowman found him at the faceoff dot, and Lavoie fired in a one timer. Jake Bischoff also earned an assist on the play.
Lavoie then gave the Silver Knights their first lead of the game with another power-play one timer at 6:59 in the second. It marked the first time that the Silver Knights scored two power-play goals in a period since October 27, and the first time in franchise history that the same player scored two power-play goals in the same period. Bischoff and Mitch McLain both assisted on the play.
The Wranglers’ leading scorer, Kerins, tied the game at two just under two minutes later. Strömgren put Calgary back in front with a power-play goal of their own. Klapka extended their lead to 4-2 heading into the second intermission.
Bowman buried a rebound to bring Henderson within one late in the third period. Bischoff picked up his third point of the night, with Matyas Sapovaliv also assisting on the play.
