The Henderson Silver Knights defeated the Bakersfield Condors at Lee’s Family Forum on Friday night.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Early in the contest, Ben Hemmerling sprung Tanner Laczynski for a breakaway goal to give Henderson a 1-0 lead.
To start the second period, Hemmerling added to HSK’s tally with assists from Kai Uchacz and Jeremy Davies. Bakersfield found their way onto the board with a goal from Isaac Howard but was quickly answered by Mitch McLain.
The period ended with another Bakersfield goal, bringing the score to 3-2 Henderson.
Trevor Connelly extended Henderson’s lead in the first half of the third period, and an empty-netter from Dylan Coghlan sealed the deal for the Silver Knights, 5-2.
