Sharks rally in third, down Wild, 3-2, on skills Update to follow

In St Paul, the Minnesota Wild let a 2-0 lead slip away in the third period on Sunday in a 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks after penalties.

Steven Lorentz and Nico Sturm struck for the Sharks in the third period to get the even, 2-0.

James Reimer made 28 saves in the Sharks win.

San Jose improved to 5-9-3.

Alexander Barkov was credited with the deciding goal on penalties.

Frederick Gaudreau scored near the midway point of the first period to give the Wild a 1-0 lead.

Minnesota dropped to 7-6-2.

Connor Dewar pushed the lead to the dreaded 2-0 advantage before the Sharks rally.

Sturm tied the game, 2-2, at 15:49 to frustrate his former Wild team.

Filip Gustavsson made 35 saves in the Wild loss.
