Biloxi, MS- The Sea Wolves hosted the Carolina Thunderbirds on Friday night. 
The Sea Wolves locked their defensive schemes on Friday and edged out the T-Birds, 2-1.
Joseph Sheppard made 21 saves in the win.
Mississippi improved to 14-17-2-2-2.
Carolina hit first with a strike by Josh Koepplinger at 4:23 of the opening stanza.
The score stayed way into the middle frame when the Sea Wolves struck for a pair of goals.
The goals came 36 seconds apart.
Dalton Anderson, potted the first of the double at 8:21 of the second. The strike came off the power play.
YianniLiarakos hit for the second goal, again off the power play, at 8:57 for the 2-1 lead, and eventual final score.
