Sea Wolves Clinch Play Offs with Win over Zydeco PHN's Best Shots of the Game

With the hope of Play Offs in their sights, Mississippi cam to play.  They opened the game strong with the guys looking strong and fast.  Zydeco and Sea Wolves both had some interesting roster changes and it showed.  Both Teams hit the ice skating hard and fast. Zydeco sees the box first off with Blake  Siewertsen  #5 getting 2 mins for Tripping.

Starting his first Pro Hockey level game, #7 Connor Mullins scores at 14:26 in the 1st period with his first goal for the team assisted by #91 Danny Liscio and #74 Joakim Nilsson making it 1 up for the Sea Wolves. Soon after the gaol # 72 CJ Kline goes in the box for Cross-Checking served 2 mins. Not long after that Jackson Bond #23 answers the call again to score and puts in in the back of the net at 14:58 with a Short Handed goal. Making it 2-0 Sea Wolve ,assisted by Philip Wong #10.

Zydeco strikes while on a Power Play with Tyler Larwood #96 powering one in at 17:35 assisted by Nick Ketola #7 and Michael Haskins #10 showing the crowd they are still out to play.  Power play came with Dominik Matonak # 34 getting called for Tripping and getting 2 mins this allowed BR to look to close the gap.

2nd Period the Wolves were on fire with in the first 10 mins of the period they scored 3 goals starting it off was Connor Lind #27 at 3:37 in with Dalton Anderson #25 getting the assist then 5 mins later Phiip Wong #10 finds the net with Matt Stioa #4 and Jackson Bond #23 assisting, then at 10:47 Dalton Anderson #25 scores with Hugo Koch #93 and Joakim Nilsson #74 assisting on this one.  Not wanting to rest Matt Stoia #4 finds the net and surges the team head even more Jackson Bond #23 and Connor Lind #27 getting the assist points on this one

2nd period was also the most penalty filled period, starting with a center ice face off between Justin Portillo #29 and Edgar Ozolinsh #18  it was a good scrim and had the crowd up on their feet in cheers.  They both received 5 mins in thee bin. This spilled over to Davide Asselin #48 and Jordan Ritchie #15 both receiving 2 mins for Unsportman like Conduct calls. all there just leading the main event of the period.

As the period was coming to a close at 17:27 there was a good sized scrim and it had all these players heading to the bin.. Connor Lind #27,Curtis Hansen #2, Matt Stoia #4,  All got 5 mins for fighting but it got even more interesting with Davide Asselin #48 serving tiem for Stoia for fighting due to Stoia getting 10 min Aggressor (Game Misconduct) Tyler Larwood #96 who was in for Third Man (Game Misconduct) 10 min. Elias Thompson served for Hansen who also got an Elbowing call 2mins.  It took the Refs a bit of time to sort this all out.

6-1 was the score going into the 3rd which even with the lead over them the boys from Baton Rouge did not give up.Sea Wolves got another Short Handed goal by Danny Liscio #91 sneaking on in on Moriarty. Anderson again was there with the assist along with Lucas Helland #11.  Increasing the lead by 6, now Biloxi is up 7-1.   Dmitry Kuznetsov # 22 found the box for boarding and sat out 2 mins at the 5:02 mark and not long after getting the assist Helland #11 caught some time for Tripping at 13:03 gaining him 2 mins more in penalty time.  He later on at 16:51 got 2 more mins for Hooking both minor calls. Wrapping the scoring for the night was Bradley Richardson #9 getting his goal past Weyrick at 8:39 giving the score a new look 7-2 and the doors at the barn tonight was CJ Kline scoring his first goal with the Sea Wolves at 12:31 making the score 8-2.  Hugo Koch #993 and Joakim Nilsson #74 with assist for Kline and #12 Hippolyte-Smith and Noah Robinson #17 for Richardson.

3 Stars of the Game go to Sheappard as the 3rd he had a great game with 29 saves, 2nd Star going to Jackson Bond with a Goal and 2 Assists with a total of 3 pt and getting his first 1st Star of the Game Dalton Anderson #25. Dalton ended the night with a goal and 2 assists and 3 pts showing the home crowd that he is a producer for the team as they go into Play Offs with this victory over Baton Rouge.

Both teams ended the night with 31 shots on goal but Moriarty letting 8 by verses 2 from Sheppard.
