SCOTLAND, UK – Murrayfield Racers progressed to the final of the Scottish Cup after completing a 10-4 aggregate victory over Dundee Tigers.
The Racers held a 3-2 lead after the first leg and followed up with a 7-2 success in the reverse fixture to secure their place at Dundee Ice Arena on 21st March.
Dundee Comets kept their hopes of claiming a top three place in the Scottish National League (SNL) alive after collecting four points from their weekend double-header against Aberdeen Lynx.
The Comets started the weekend with a comfortable 7-2 win on the road and followed up with a 4-3 overtime victory back on home ice – Aaron Robertson grabbed the deciding goal in the second game.
Allan Anderson (2) and Jake Grubb got the goals as Kirkcaldy Kestrels overcame a stiff challenge from North Ayrshire Wild to seal a narrow 3-2 win at Fife Ice Arena.
Kilmarnock Thunder completed their regular season fixtures with a 17-0 home defeat against Paisley Pirates.
