SCOTLAND, UK – Scottish Ice Hockey is set for a busy weekend, with seven games scheduled to take place across three competitions.
North Ayrshire Wild and Dundee Comets go head-to-head in the Stuart Robertson Cup (SRC) with a place in the final up for grabs.
Wild qualified for the last four after finishing second behind Murrayfield Racers in the southern section during the opening phase.
The Comets booked their place in the semi-finals after claiming top spot in the northern group.
The winners of the two-legged clash will face either Murrayfield or Aberdeen Lynx in the final.
The Racers are in pole position to progress after recording a 9-1 victory over Lynx in the first leg of their tie. The two sides meet again in Aberdeen on Saturday.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels and Paisley Pirates meet in the Scottish Cup over the weekend aiming to secure a semi-final place in the competition.
The two sides have met once this season, with Paisley recording a 6-3 road success in the league back in October.
Belfast Giants SNL face a weekend double-header on the road, visiting Kilmarnock Thunder on Saturday before meeting Murrayfield the following day.
