Glasgow Clan and Fife Flyers meet at Braehead Arena on Friday night in part one of their weekend double-header, with the return game taking place in Kirkcaldy less than 24 hours later.

Clan enter the game on the back of Wednesday’s Challenge Cup elimination, a result that extended their losing streak to seven and left them with just one win in their last nine outings. That run has seen them slip away from the early-season pace-setters. Fife, meanwhile, recorded a home win last Saturday before falling in Nottingham the following night.
Earlier this week, the Flyers announced that they expect to have both David Booth and Milan Lucic available for this weekend’s fixtures, although both players are still awaiting the final paperwork to be cleared before they can ice.
Historically, Clan have enjoyed strong home form against their Scottish rivals. In 45 league meetings at Braehead Arena, Glasgow have claimed 33 wins, with Fife taking the points on 12 occasions. Notably, if the game goes beyond 60 minutes, the Flyers have never lost a league fixture in Glasgow. Across their head-to-head history in Braehead, Clan average a 4-2 victory.
