In Anaheim, the New Jersey Devils’ Cory Schneider made 34 saves for a 3-0 shutout of the Ducks on Sunday.
“My teammates did their job tonight,” Schneider said. “For me, it’s just about doing my job. The game felt good tonight in terms of my performance and how I felt.”

Pavel Zacha scored twice, once in each of the first two periods; both goals came on the power play.
“Our [penalty kill] didn’t get the job done,” Ducks forward Carter Rowney said. “We didn’t score any goals either to stay in the fight.”
Nico Hischier scored in the third period.

John Gibson made 31 saves in the loss.,
“We could’ve had a little better of a start,” Anaheim head coach Dallas Eakins said. “Keeping the puck out of our net on the penalty kill was a problem tonight.”
