In Nashville, Juuse Saros made 32 saves to help the Predators to a 4-0 win over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers.
It was the second straight win for Nashville after a blistering stretch of losses.
“When the team plays good in front of you, usually you get going too,” Saros said. “Of course, I got a little bit of luck today. A couple times, the puck hit the post.”
Viktor Arvidsson struck for two goals in his fourth game back in the lineup after an injury.
“I’m almost there,” Arvidsson said. “I feel like I had my legs under me a little bit better today. I felt like my timing was better (than it was the first two games back) in [a 6-3 win at the Washington Capitals on Monday] and stuff like that. That plays into it. It’s a little hard to come back, being out for six weeks. I feel like I’m close to where I want to be, and I’ve just got to keep working.”
Craig Smith and Rocco Grimaldi also scored for the Preds who improved to 24-15-2.
“Coach [Peter Laviolette] came in and wasn’t very happy with that first [period],” Grimaldi said. “Neither were we. We talked about that: We don’t want to be a one-hit wonder, having six [losses] in a row and then you win one game and you think everything is turned around, and then you have an egg like that.”

Michal Neuvirth took the loss on 22 saves.
“All four goals, we beat ourselves on,” Flyers head coach Scott Gordon said. “Just putting ourselves in the wrong spots, and you can’t outscore those mistakes.”
