San Jose blank Rampage, 4-0

SAN ANTONIO  – The San Antonio Rampage (9-11-1-0) were shutout 4-0 by the San San Jose Barracuda logoJose Barracuda (8-5-0-3) Sunday evening at the AT&T Center.

The Barracuda were the first to light the lamp late in the opening period when Tim Heed netted a power-play goal at 16:16 from Kevin Lebanc and Nikolay Goldobin. San Jose extended their lead to two as Timo Meier collected a second Barracuda power-play goal off assists from Mirco Mueller and Julius Bergman with 58 seconds remaining in the stanza.

Down 2-0 at the start of the second, the Rampage surrendered their third goal just 44 seconds into the frame. Meier struck again as Lebanc and Daniel O’Regan registered assists, giving the Barracuda a 3-0 lead.
