After the game when reporter asked first question Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher began by saying, “I have had great discussion with Richard Trottier on things I perceived against our team, it is simple I told him this morning I said 200 games, I have 181 games coached in this league before the season began.”
“They asked me to get better on certain things I have to admit that it took sometimes before getting better on things but in 181 game I only got one warning. This year I got seven in 21 games, I got seven warning three minor penalties and one ejection.”

“Tonight in third period the Carozza penalty wasn’t one his two minutes for unsportman like conduct I can’t see what he said to referee. We can’t see on camera it says nothing. I said,” are you fucking me Marc-Andre at 100 feet from him and he gave me a two minutes. He gave me a two minutes in game where you got 17,000 person in the Videotron Center you have great shot and we got our legs cuts. Simple question in first period did you see interference on last play you can go to get the picture or I will give you the image I saw the look he gave me like if I was an insignificant like if I’m like nothing. It is frustrating, he came to see me five minute later I asked again and he said no, I ask him can you tell me why you gave me that look? He answered me if I didn’t respect you I didn’t came to see you.”
“You can judged the work that has been done in third it’s him he did the whole job it became to be tough to be marked like red iron. I don’t know if it was the Memorial Cup I will do something else I swear I will do something else.” Ended Quebec head coach Philippe Boucher
